It’s all in the Details

This skirt was purchased as an outfit that I knew I’d be able to break up and wear mutiple ways, and I am loving playing around with it! (see more here & here)

Today I paired the skirt from Banana Republic with a black top from Forever 21. This top at first seems basic, but the subtle leather details make it so interesting and fun! My Kate Preston studded leather heels and my leather bangle from Target were a perfect compliment to this edgy business outfit.

Today is the anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death. If you know me personally, then you already know today is Elvis filled! I mean, I even have an Elvis tattoo 😉

I always dig a comfy tshirt with a pencil skirt – it just really changes the whole look and “purpose” of the pencil skirt.
